    Ian Czajkowskyj locked his seven-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier inside his car in 35.2C heat last June while he went for a pint in his local boozer in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester. The 57-year-old had been warned by the RSPCA about keeping the animal, Carlo, locked in a car in such high temperatures on two separate occasions in the previous couple of months.
