    Summary
    In domestic goats, the polled intersex syndrome refers to XX female‐to‐male sex reversal associated with the absence of horn growth. The causal variant was previously reported as a 11.7 kb deletion at approximately 129 Mb on chromosome 1 that affects the transcription of both FOXL2 and several long non‐coding RNAs.
