Oliver came to Animal
Humane Society as a stray when he was 3-months-old. He was very small, fragile, and shy. When I came to get him, which was our first meeting, I picked him up and he immediately began purring. We got along right away and he adapted effortlessly to his new home. We are currently best friends and are always in the same room as each other. His favorite things are playing, looking out the window, and cuddling. He's the loveist and happiest little guy and is getting so big! He's now 5-months-old. - Erin

When we brought Portia home from Animal Humane Society she was terrified of riding in cars and very shy around other dogs and people. She was very timid and didn't bark for almost the first two weeks we had her. Now she races to the car when we drive to the woodsy area where she can run off leash and meet other dogs.
She greets everyone she meets with a friendly bark. She's an utter delight and we all adore her. Our grandkids beg to come over to play with her and she's helped them get over their fear of dogs.
