    Just hatched! Oak titmouse chicks.
    Our Garden produces around 14,000 pounds of vegetables and fruit each year, but this is the first time it has produced baby birds.
    Last year, the California Bluebird Recovery Program installed nesting boxes at Our Garden in Walnut Creek, and this year we had our first family born there. Five to six oak titmouse chicks hatched in mid April and will likely leave the nest in the next week or so.
